  • "Waiting in movement" is a serendipitous encounter of three startists from Denmark, Indonesia and Venezuela. Experimenting with audacious naivety they propose an eclectic understanding of love and its quirks. Cheesy words, concrete music and witty illustrations in an attempt to describe the crudeness of falling and un-falling in love. Endlessly.

This poetry book is a hybrid of 18 illustrated poems written between Berlin, Germany and Vevey, Switzerland, printed in delicious Riso and intervened with concrete music in a mix of sounds recorded and superposed in analog manner.

Riso printed in Wemakeit - Wedding, Berlin (2018).

    .....

Ariel William Orah - Bandung, Indonesia
is a Berlin-based Indonesian artist who explores themes related to identity, memory, and scarcity. He fancies the durability of homo sapiens and the fragility of the machines. He is working with variety of media, ranging from audio and sound sculptures, physical and interactive installations, and moving and/or still images. He co-founded an empathy driven artist collective “Formerly Known as Luftmenschen” in 2015, and an audio unit GRAU& in 2017. Selected works included commissioned installation for Tanz im August Festival Berlin (2016), film-music scoring for “Deeper High”- Germany (2018), solo album “Scarcity” under ravenative moniker (2017).

Madlen Medina - Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela
A rational mind in continuous dispute with emotional neediness. Her first and only publication is “Understanding”, a poem featured in the DIY zine from the Berlin-based collective“Formerly Known as Luftmenschen” . She lets days slip away dwelling on spiky emotions in hope to keep sanity during a voluntary seclusion in Vevey, Switzerland. Favorite topics: no reciprocal love, melancholy and existential angst. Favourite tools: Kaweco smart pen, “Midnight blue” Kaweco ink and Midori creamy notebooks.

    Nina Dissing - Denmark
Nina is a Danish artist based in Berlin. She finds joy capturing ordinary scenes from everyday life and provoking thoughts working with no-go topics. She blends analogue and digital techniques to push the boundaries of illustration, accentuating textures and experimenting with bright colours to depict the uniqueness inherent to the human body and its universe of shapes.
